About Britt
Britt Riley is SVP, Executive Creative Director at Doe-Anderson, where she leads creative work for brands including Georgia Aquarium, LG&E and KU, and TDECU.

Britt originally wanted to be a fashion designer, but a complete inability to sew put an early end to that dream. She eventually found her way into advertising, where having an imagination turned out to be more useful than knowing how to operate a sewing machine.

Over the years, she's worked at agencies big and small, from Arnold Worldwide, where she worked on brands like Carnival Cruise Line, Jack Daniel's, and Progressive Insurance, to smaller creative shops like Goodness mfg. (RIP), Chemistry and Mistress. Along the way, her work has picked up ADDYs, Hatch Awards, Pencils, D&ADs and Lions. She's also worked alongside some exceptionally talented people, many of whom taught her things she still uses today. She likes to think a little of their genius rubbed off on her.

Not one to make things easy on herself, Britt decided to pursue an MBA immediately after giving birth to her first child. She completed it, although she would not recommend this particular approach to higher education.

Britt lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her two sons and a dog. She's learning to play the piano, still can't sew, and has a debilitating fear of snakes that extends to photographs of them. She's convinced she was killed by one in a past life. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
